These terms govern your use of Storiyaa, our audio storytelling platform that helps you create, share, and discover stories. By using Storiyaa, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases on Storiyaa. Our stories can be heard by listeners of all ages. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may use their account to listen to and record stories with you. Continued use after updates to these terms means you accept the updated terms.
Create, publish, listen to, and share audio stories with Storiyaa — including AI-assisted features, community interaction, story discovery, and a virtual currency called Stars ✦ that powers creator monetisation and premium episode access. Features may evolve over time.

You retain ownership of the stories and recordings you create. By posting on Storiyaa, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, stream, transcode, and display your stories solely to operate and improve the service.
Respect others' rights: do not upload stories or recordings you do not have permission to use. Storiyaa's trademarks, branding, and platform code remain our property and may not be copied or misused.
Keep your credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose security risks.
Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using Storiyaa, you consent to those practices.
Stars ✦ are Storiyaa's virtual currency used to unlock premium episodes. Stars are not real money and hold no value outside the platform. You may purchase Stars via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking); all purchases are final and non-refundable. Once you spend Stars to unlock an episode, your access to that episode is permanent. Creators earn a share of Stars spent on their content; payout terms and earning rates are set by Storiyaa and may change at any time. We may update pricing, Stars pack values, or creator earning rates as the platform evolves. Unused Stars have no expiry but cannot be transferred to other users or exchanged for cash. Applicable taxes may apply based on your location.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal requirements, or platform risk. You may stop using Storiyaa at any time; certain licenses and obligations (e.g., payment, IP, liability limits) survive termination.
Storiyaa is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you have spent on Stars purchases in the past 6 months or USD $50.
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or security changes. We will post updates here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
