Storiyaa is a home for audio serials — mythology, folk tales, devotional stories, regional fiction — in every Indian language. We launched with a catalog of serials we built ourselves. Now we're looking for the first 10 human storytellers to grow it with us.

Tell us who you are, what you tell stories about, and what language(s) you work in. Every application is read by someone on the Storiyaa team — no algorithms, no automated scoring.
If you’re a fit, we write back directly. This is a real conversation, not a form letter. We’ll ask about your storytelling background and what you’d like to publish first.
Once you say yes, the team walks you through your first upload over a call. Your account is set up in advance. You show up, share your audio file, and the episode goes live.
That’s roughly one episode every 2–3 weeks. Any series, any language, any genre that fits the Storiyaa catalog (see “Who this is for” below). Your first 2 episodes of any serial are free for listeners; episode 3 onward unlocks at ₹9 for 3 episodes.
You earn 40% of every unlock your listeners pay for. Payouts happen monthly once your Stars balance crosses 500 Stars. The ₹2,000 guaranteed floor covers your first 90 days; after that you’re fully on organic earnings, with the same rev share continuing indefinitely.
We know the first 90 days on a new platform are slow. You're building an audience from scratch on Storiyaa, even if you already have one elsewhere. The guarantee exists so you're not taking a blind risk.
Here's exactly how it works:
What it isn't: a minimum monthly salary. It's a one-time floor over the first 90 days. After 90 days, you're on the standard rev share, same as any creator on Storiyaa.
Total program budget across all 10 founding creators: ₹20,000. We're being transparent about this because it tells you something real about where we are as a company — small, careful, and not making promises we can't keep.
One exception: Stories published on Storiyaa should not be simultaneously behind a paywall on another audio platform for the same content. Cross-posting freely elsewhere is fine. Running the same paid serial on two competing platforms simultaneously is not.
